Breakaway Art images are available in a range of original oils on linen, fine art lithographs and limited edition Giclee canvas prints.
Originals Damien and Samantha’s original paintings are alive in their colour and texture. The original oils are painted on Belgian Linen using the finest quality oils. Syringe work as well as brush work creates a tapestry-like texture and aids the finest detail.
Giclee fine art canvas prints limited edition Computer technology and advances in printing have resulted in a revolution in the world of artistic print making. The Giclee process uses extremely fine droplets of ink transferred to canvas with incredible precision. The resolution is significantly finer than conventional printing. The Giclee captures the the integrity of the original work onto the finest quality acid-free cottom ensuring archival status. The inks last for up to 60 years without any discernable fading. BreakAway Art’s printer, Origin Technology, was awarded two of only eleven Andre Schellenberg Awards at the recent international conference for the Digital Printing and Imaging Association.
Samantha and Damien can add extra paintwork to their Giclee limited editions (28 or 88 prints in each edition) by request. This makes each edition unique and adds substantial value to the print’s investment status. The result is a work which looks and shines like an original oil on canvas.
